An inspiring project in Sussex

Since the launch of Cuckmere Community Solar Company in 2016, planning permission for our 4 MW solar farm remains and is set to be the first community owned solar farm in East Sussex.

We aim to build a solar farm that not only will provide clean energy for over 800 homes, but also a haven for wildlife, benefits to the community both financially and environmentally, and we believe, this project will inspire other communities across the UK to act by choosing renewable energy to help prevent the progression of climate change.
